my guys lower beak

Good evening My guy Jeoffy, his lower mandible looks to long. Could anyone let me know if I need to have it trimmed? his beak is fully closed in this pic.

I am not sure but I do know someone that has this issue with one of their birds. Shes on youtube under "Petra Grey" . You can ask her on there. She has a bird named Oscar with this issue. She should reply quickly.

I have to get my female ekkies Lucy's beak trimmed every 3 months or she can't close her mouth properly. The avian vet does it with a Dremmel type instrument and only takes a couple seconds.

Exactly! She'll have trouble drinking and that's not good at all!
