OMG ... she is too precious! I'm on no hurry to do the young puppy thing over again, still recovering from Jake. But your a good person for taking her in and giving her a great start in life!

I definitely see some Shepherd in her ... in the third picture, she looks like a little fox I can't place what else she looks like. I want to say a larger dog like a husky, but not sure.

Thanks And, oh yes, there's more than "some" Shepherd, from what I've been told. The mother "looked" like a Shepherd too. So, Alice is 75% Shepherd at least. The father was AKC registered. The mother, not so much, but didn't look obviously mixed from what I've been told by my friend (I never personally saw either parent but trust her opinion). So, she's probably not full stock, but she's by far more German Shepherd than anything else.

Ha! Yes, that would be a good indicator, but so far, Ms. Alice is making do with Walmart accoutrements.

She's radically undersized for a "mostly German Shepherd" But, she's been eating like crazy since she's been here, and she's putting on weight so fast it's unbelievable! I honestly didn't know that puppies could gain that much weight that fast (and I worked my way through undergrad as a vet assistant). I suppose she's got some catching up to do...
