Murphy is a sweet fellow who has been maturing beautifully. On June 19th he will be 6 months old already. He has lost 5 clipped wing feathers so I expect he will be flying soon. He also is learning to sing and whistle so talking may be just around the corner but not 100 % sure on that. He has been molting for about one month now so many of his feathers are new.

Yes, I was just wondering about the wing clipping. I do not do that to my birds either.

Both budgies were clipped by the breeder. I asked him not to but it is his policy because he is in a store environment.

The breeder told me when I got Murphy that he would be spectacular in his adult plumage which he does not have yet. Cannot see any flight feathers peaking out yet. Its going to be tough on Mickey to see Murphy flying while he cannot. Both of them have just about exhausted their toys. I have put the remnants of toy parts that are left together and hopefully they wont know.
