My male budgie is on the floor of the cage, and I've noticed its beak is very long. I never noticed his long beak before. I feel really bad about not noticing it, it blends in with his feathers. I am unable to contact a vet in my area until Monday. I want him to not suffer in case he is dying, and a beak trim in case he is unable to eat due to long beak. He is 10 years, 6 months old. I have antibiotics for birds (my other budgie was sick 2 months ago and was lots leftover). I have put him in a small cage, and just added food and water by him on the bottom, after this photo. Is his beak overgrown to the point he cannot eat on his own? Last photo was a picture of his poop after drying. it's just water and white stuff. I tried to syringe feed him, and it seems he wont swallow. I am now trying some cooked mashed veges and quinoa.
