I never knew Anubias could get this BIG! I tore my tank down completely the other night, as it was very dirty. I took out the artificial plants, scrubbed the rocks, added this big piece of driftwood. This afternoon all of these plants arrived. I just sort of shoved them in there so not sure how they may be. But wow..some big plants..I cannot get over how beautiful they are!

What kind of lights do you use?

Hi Alyssa. They are 2X 54 wt HO T-5 Giesemann aquafloras. They are due for replacement.

Thanks everyone. The seller said once the anubias acclimate towards the light they won't look so chaotic, and he was right!

I do have a major step still. I am going to draw off two buckets of water, which I will put the goldies in. Then put in some new substrate at least heavily around the amazon sword, as it is a root feeder. Right now it is just wedged between a couple rocks...that won't do.

Took the goldies out, dumped in a bag of new substrate over the sword, smushed down the anubias some, and took out a rock. Replaced goldies...
