This bird, Capriccia, is a hen.
Indeed!
She is very receptive to scratching almost any and all the time, haha.
She saw the school kids going by on their scooters and was intrigued. They often act silly and call to the birds as they go by the outdoorv aviary or the front room window, hoping to get the macaws to squawk and or talk back.

Funny how that works. I just had one Maxi Pionus and some guys called to say he found Lurch after 5 years so now I have Pippen too, then friends mom got dementia so now I have Kiwi and Puff. If folks know you like birds it just happens, or a lost birdie needs a home.
