Location: North of Seattle WA
Cost: Free to PERFECT home but there will be requirements we would like to be met.
My mom just had brain surgery and we do not know if she will be able to have her birds anymore.
I unfortunately have large parrots and cannot take her birds as they're small.
I am scouting for some good homes just in case she cannot be around them due to swelling of the brain and noise sensitivity.
They come with their cages, toys, and all their food. They can go together or per "pair". Only to people who are financially stable and long term parrot/bird owners.
2 zebra finches in 1 A&E flight cage. Eats seed + fresh produce cut in slivers. 2-4 years old.
2 budgies in a flight cage. Both semi tame. 1-2 years old. Eats both zupreem budgie pellets AND seeds. I would say they favor the seeds.
1 female parrotlet, missing toes, 5-6y.o. Very hand tame. But normal female parrotlet attitude and characteristics . Eats zupreem budgie pellets and cockatiel size prelets. Eats seed. Eats cut up veggies.
Female cockatiel with a male budgie (a pair). Comes with A&E flight cage. Prefers seeds although the female cockatiel had been on pellets all her life. When mom got sick she forgot that Buzz could eat pellets and has been eating seed. Will eat cut up romaine and carrots. Can be picky. Her budgie friend eats seeds. No success with diet conversion because he is with a seed eater. Eats veggies just fine.
1 male Quaker. 13-14 years old. Eats cockatiel size fruity zupreem. Eats seeds. Somewhat picky with produce. A pig towards people food. IS LOUD. Very cage territorial except with my mom and somewhat likes me. So perhaps prefers females? Comes with a 24"x24" dome cage. Typical male quaker. Friendly but well he is a Quaker. Experience required.
All birds are flighted and we would prefer to rehome them as flighted.
Again this is just to find potential homes just incase my mother cannot care for her birds anymore. She has had all of them their entire lives and this is a very difficult time.
I will not respond to how much and where at or out of state interests.
Thanks for looking.
