Her cere does not seem to get the crusty brown females budgies usually get. She just gets a slight brownish tinge over here usual white. I put a falling apart toy in cage top and she immediately climbed inside and looked around for a while. She left it after about 7 minutes. Murphy is clueless and not interested. You don't mess around with the boss!

Cute photos of Mickey. Do she and Murphy flirt with each other at all? Every evening when I let the crimson clan out in the bird room I have to keep an eye and ear out for Casey and Scarlette. Those two are determined to mate... and I'm determined to keep them from doing the deed. Casey gets so mad at me!

Andrea, you are a party pooper! Let them mate, let them have fun. Then play predator when the eggs are laid and eliminate the baby problem.

Diane, your budgies are just beautiful!

I used to raise them until 2009. Mr. Party pants ain't having it... they have fun trying to hide it from me and get plenty of "kicks" preening each others butts. I don't want any egg laying... at all. ( or the potential problems that could come with it)
