I have two males.
I would say in terms of temperament, it may vary bird by bird, and how they are raised.
Both my males are very different. I got both through a rescue. The older one has had a really rough past, prior to joining our family. As a result, he does not like women, but is a total ham with any men. He and I, over the 10+ years he's been here, have gotten to be on better terms (he does not try to attack me nearly as much) but he is definitively more my spouse's bird.
The younger one bounced around a little at a young age. I got him before his second hatchday and he was a bit skittish, but mostly due to having had little interactions for the previous few months. After some time here, he did start getting more social and he's a great bird. Loves attention, is good with some of my birds (not with the other Meyer's though).
