Mae West RIP

I lost Mae West last week. I did not mention it as it made me very sad. She was a favorite. Her belly had turned yellow, but so did her wen so I assumed it was just a color change. I was very wrong. It was an internal bacterial infection.If I had just asked sooner, I may have been able to save her.
She had become quite beautiful. She will be missed.

Hambone{the blue} seems pretty lost without her. So I looked at several of my vendors to see if anyone had one like her.
I found this fish. She looks like a female also, and quite similar to Mae. She will arrive in the morning. Wish me luck with her.

Aww she was beautiful. I'm so sorry she died. With fish, there's no certainty she would have made it either way. Often times, when they start exhibiting symptoms, it's much too late. Don't be hard on yourself. You did what you could for her and loved her very much. That's all that any fish could ever possibly want, and a lot more than most get. Her passing is in no way your fault. Just know she isn't suffering anymore. Good luck with the beautiful new girl and let us know how the introductions go.

Goodbye little Mae West. Swimming up that little blue river in the sky. I understand. I had some special fish before my divorce. I did not get them.
