Plet’s start to go through what they call the terrible twos between 4 and 6 months old. They get very hormonal and act the way you are describing. Lasts about a month or so. If you get a chance, check out this site.

My first p’lett was older when I got her and my second was ‘off’ from the time I got him at 10 weeks old and he passed at about 5 months so never went through it but was getting prepared for it. I now have a lovebird that is 15 months old so am hoping I missed it with him too!
