i have been keeping love birds for more than a year, 3 pairs in a single large wooden cage. They all had babies but as soon as the offsprings reach adult age they get eye infection and starts to die one by one. This has happened now with my second set of offsprings, there all dead but the parents are still alive and healthy.what can i do to stop this and why only the offsprings are catching this disease. note the offsprings are healthy in there nest but after a month they leave there nest they catch the eye infection.

I'm very sorry for the loss of your baby birds. Hopefully others will have suggestions for you.

Sorry for your loss. Have you taken any of the babies to the vet?

All I can think of is conjunctivitis, a vet could tell you for sure ..and it can be cured with medication.
