Louie came home with us!

About a month ago Vicki posted about a grey needing a home. I had emailed the woman about Louie and she had recently gone back to work full time and has quite a commute so was unable to spend much time with Louie. After telling her about our birds and our bird room, she felt we would make a good home for Louie.

We drove up to get him (about 4 hours each way) on Dec 11th. He settled in pretty quick and has become a very friendly chatter box. He has definitely chosen me and is still unsure of my boyfriend. His previous owner said he was attacked by her fiance's German Shepard when she first moved in and her fiance had to tackle the dog to get Louie out of his mouth, so Louie has never been too keen on her fiance or men in general.
