Lost two in one day…

I lost my 6 month old lovebird (zippy) and my 4 year old sun conure (jinx) more than a month ago. I’m pretty sure they got something from the wild birds that visit while they were enjoying the outdoors. Their cages were beside eachother and on the other side of the house from the rest of the other birds. Fortunately everyone else is fine, I have done some modifications to the aviary and the indoor birds are staying fully indoors for the time being.

They were acting normal when suddenly at 7 in the morning they lost control of their bodies. I would randomly break down for the first week I have now accepted their passing and would like to post in memory of them.

I’m from Indonesia and unfortunately we have a lot of problems with avian viruses .

So sorry for your loss of your beautiful birds.
Here in the UK the avian flu is so bad that people have been put on a domestic bird lockdown. It came into effect here last week.
I am glad to hear your other birds are okay. Please keep them inside for safety measures.

Yes, here in the uk bird flu is everywhere atm....we are having to be extra careful, especially with aviary birds and free flyers.
It must be so hard for you...such a shock.
However, it us clear that you all loved each other very much and your little friends had a wonderful life with you x
