Still no little bird. I keep going around the area she was last seen playing a recording of cockatiel chirps, but each time I hear nothing. I can't help but think the worst. I feel so guilty.

Do you have a cage outside with little birds toys on top and some food and water? Try everything you can to attract him back. He may be close by.

My brother has a cabin in Redding, CA. I know there are feed stores and probably pet stores that you need to put flyers at. Can you nail flyers to telephone poles out there?

I have put about 60 fliers out so far and will put up more at all the vets, shelters and pet stores tomorrow since I'm off. I think it's ok to put fliers on telephone poles, hopefully so because I have already. I put a cage with food and water out the day it happened. I really don't think she is close though, I keep calling her with no answer. I did feel a little better when I went on cockatielrescue's website; 750 found cockatiels since the beginning of this year. Thanks again everyone, I am still trying to hold on to that little hope I have left.
