Can I use liquid bandage on my birds foot.
There is an open sore on his foot that doesn't heal

Don't know about finches but @finchly does. However if it's bleeding you can apply a small amount of cornstarch and then put very light pressure on the area.
You can also perhaps try some aloe vera to help with the foot but, hopefully, someone who knows more about finches will give you a recommendation.

Hi Mrs. B, welcome to the forum.

Is the wound on the bottom of the foot? What kind of perches do you have?

Wash the wound and use a (human) antibacterial ointment. You can also put colloidal silver directly on the wound, which might be what you need at this point.

I’ll tell you more after I know wht we’re dealing with. Upload a pic if you can.
