Kobe gets so excited as I uncover the Amazons in the morning. "Do you want a little skritch?" and "oh.... BOY!" and "how've you been doing?"

@Fuzzy What a cute little Kobe! I love the outburst of robotic bird.. simply magnificent. I find it amazing how many Hollywood cinema sounds they can get from birds.. Jurassic park is a great Parrot expose.

Kobe started talking English at only 4 or 5 months old - he arrived saying something like "kiss kiss"... although he could have been asking for "couscous". He has a loud voice when he's excited. Sometimes too loud so I taught him to whisper too. He also laughs like me. We both laugh a lot when I carry him up to bed.

Nerd never talked but he knew all the proper jungle calls a wild Pionus made. Lurch talked and had all kinds of weird made up or foreign words and he kept learning more from us. Dobby likes whistling and sound affects and does talk a bit, usually in my voice. He loves to announce DOBBY, DOBBY BOY, DOBBY GOOD BOY, probably more. He does all the weird clicks, and clucks, woos, when he's excited just like Kobe.
