haven't heard about this....Looks delicious!!!
Saroj, I have a question for you since I noticed in your last photo you skewer sweet potato with the skin-- is the skin safe?? I always thought it was (and the most nutritious part) until I saw some post (can't remember where, might have been on another forum) where somebody asked if baked potato was safe and another response said yes, but remove the skin. Is the skin safe????
I haven't been able to find too much yet, just this really:

by Caroline Swicegood (Winged Wisdom Pet Bird Magazine - Kitchen Physician III - Parrots, Produce & Pesticides. Safe foods for pet parrots, exotic pet birds - Birds, Birds, Birds) but it's from 1997?Common sense practices can somewhat reduce pesticide residues on fresh fruits and vegetables. The USDA recommends that produce be washed under tap water before serving. Consumers should peel away and discard outer leaves, skin or rinds. Certain hardy vegetables, like potatoes and carrots, should be scrubbed if the fiber-rich skins are to be given to parrots.
