My parrotlet is in a fight cage because she loves to fly! She has tons of perches and toys...have fun shopping for your new baby

Thanks everyone! So far so good! We got his temporary cage all set up with extra perches and toys...just trying to find something bigger. Right now he's in an 18x18 but I want something that is wider so he has more room for toys etc. It's hard to find a bigger cage with the bar spacing less than 1/2in. What do you have your babies in?? Would love help finding a good size cage for him. Thanks!

You can get an HQ flight cage. They usually run around $160. they are 30x18x36 I think and come with a stand. 1/2" bar spacing. A&E also make a similar flight cage.

yes the hq or a/e is the best cage out there with small bar spacing!

Welcome to chaos! Remember teeny weeny bird....HUGE attitude and thus fearlessness. BTW they also reach sexual maturity at 5-6 months old. So in about a month you'll have a teenager on your hands. When Pickles went through that phase it was trying to say the least.

Oh he has a lot of toys and perches, ropes, etc. now. That pic was from the first night we got him and didn't have his cage fully set up.

Well he/she does have some blue on her rump but it's very light. Could this be a male??

No if its light it means she's a female. Males have a very dark blue rump and streaks by their eyes.
