Here's a bunch of photos that I took at Jurong Bird Park, in Singapore, last week. Belinda and I had a VERY busy 3 days in Singapore checking out the zoo's and a few tourist-y type places

You hve great camaera skills, and what beautiful subjects. The Hornbills are my favorite. I remember when I was a little kid, my mom had this bird encyclopedia and I thought that the male Cock-of-the-Rock was the funniest bird ever. They are so cute.

Yay, there was more! Must have been so cool to see all these birds in the flesh. The Pesquet's Parrot is amazing, I would love to see one in real life, but I doubt that'll ever happen.

I've been fortunate enough to see Pesquet's in 3 places now, the closest to the wild being in an aviary at a Hotel in Madang, Papua New Guinea, where they're native.

That's a Sumba lorikeet Adele, Trichoglossus h. fortis.

They are SO gorgeous. I cannot get over how beautiful they all are. The BOP and the other non hookbills are quite the jaw droppers!!!!!!
