I am so delighted to announce Cynthia as June's Mayor of the Avenue.

1. What kind of birds do you have (age, species and names)?
27, G2, Percy
2. What got you interested in birds?
Rehab of screech owls when i was a teenager also seeing an indigo bunting as well
3. What have your birds brought to your life?
Great joy i love seeing Percy play he is my companion
4. What have you learned from sharing your life with your birds?
To be calm no matter what
5. What's one birdie memory that will stay with you forever?
Little General a G2 looking out the window and seeing a balloon across the street and screaming we closed the window he had to open it and scream again
6. Where is your birds main living area?
Now my bedroom
7. Did you change things in your home to accommodate your birds and if so what kinds of things did you change?
Before my stroke i had a bird room with more birds
8. Are you involved in any kind of bird related group or activities?
I was a member of a bird club that disbanded
9. What is the one luxury item you would love to have for your bird(s)?
I do not know
10. Is there any bird that you dream of owning and if so why?
No Percy is my dream bird
11. Describe a typical day with you at home with your birds.
I am in the same room as Percy so i feed him and let him out for a while then i take my meds and go back to sleep i let him back out in the afternoon
12. What have you learned about owning birds that you would like to share?
To be calm
13. If you knew then what you know now about birds, what would you do differently?
Get Percy on pellets sooner
14. What other hobbies do you have?
none any more

I love AA and this was unexpected
