amazon has mixed reviews. What do you think of it and what does Jingo think of it. (when you have time to answer)

He's got the bottom part down, but the top paddle he is just shaking it and hoping for the best

The biggest issue I have is it will not fit a nutriberry, which is my prime foraging incentive, especially when he is first learning a new toy. It really only fits pellets and seeds. Not even sure I could put many freeze dried foods in it which is disappointing for such a large toy.

I think so it's a weird space though; it's like a V shaped opening so hoping it doesn't get jammed up easily!

Youtube videos are great for that too! My goal is to get video of Jingo using them all but he isn't being cooperative right now

Also I think I'm switching gears and going with Nuts.com for my freeze dried stuff so I can get Goji berries at the same time

Maybe fd spinach? Rupert seems to like black currants a lot (always picks them out of Danita's/AO bird breads). You can always skewer fresh food with mini skewers so he has to go to weird spots to get it, and make birdie burritos out of leafy greens with tasty goodies inside.

I do need more mini skewers! That's a good idea! I'll try some spinach or kale too!

Oooh FD sweet potatoes! The only reason I haven't added any green beans is because the size might be weird for some of the toys.. but not all, so I should get some ty!

Just a little question, do they need to manipulate this one with their feet? I thought this toy was only suitable for grey sized birds, but if Jingo is figuring this one out I think my lovies might enjoy it too

No, the top and bottom move independently. Jingo moves one part with his beak and then climbs up or down to move the other part.

my parrotlet also doesn't play with her toys, only climbes around in her cage and sometimes uses her swing.
the only thing she ocassionaly uses is a palmleave toy or other chewingtoys.

she has some foraging toys and she knows how they work, she just isn't very interested in using them because she doesn;t have to. (food in the bowl)
i ordered her a new cage that will arive this week and also ordered some new foraging toys. I will also try to make her more active and interested in foraging.
i am thinking about feeding only a half portion pellets in the morning and for extra food she will have to forage. at the moment she already knows these toys:

i will rotate the different foraging toys around. i use nutriberries, seeds and pellets in it. hope i can get her more active this way. only problem is that parrotlets have a very high motablism and i don't want her to be without food al day when i am gone for work.
she knows how the toys work, she is just to lazy to use them.
