Jenday Egg Laying

Happy New Year everybirdy! My Jenday conure, Samantha Carter has not laid eggs in years. She is a rescue and age is questionable (I have had her 15 years) She started laying eggs right after Christmas and is on her 3rd on which is still to come. I know they lay 2-5, but how many days apart? Right now, she is fine, no distress, just checking and do not want her egg bound. Many thanks in advance. Tanya Stark

Eggs are usually laid every other day.

Good luck with the egg laying. I guess you know to feed her calcium rich foods and or egg shells that have been sterilized and crushed. I use a food processor after baking them in the oven at a low temp (200 to 250) for about 1/2 hr.
