Thanks, Katy! I am happy with her being so tolerant but also not too surprised. Animals often know they need our help and allow things they wouldn't otherwise. I had a 350 lb llama that would almost crush me if I tried to brush or shear him but who stood perfectly still in his paddock, not restrained at all, just with my hand around his neck (I couldn't have held him like that if he wanted to go) while I plucked about 20-25 porcupine quills out of his lips. I couldn't wait for the vet as he couldn't eat and as it turned out, wanted my help.Well, first, I'm glad she does not appear to be in pain. Second, glad you're getting her in tomorrow. I'm sure everything will be fine, but you must be so proud of the way she let you handle her.
