Hello ! I'm having a hard time getting a definitive answer online so I was just wondering if I could get some opinions on here... I can't tell if this is completely normal or if my birds beak is overgrown

I took this picture today and she stuck her tongue out at me
I've been keeping an eye on her beak and it does, in fact seem normal.
I'm somewhat of a new bird mom and I think it was just the new growth portion that I was concerned with because that wasn't there when she was a baby
Once again thanks so much !

Yes it's normal to chip and get a little point. But provide lots of softer wood and softer stuff to chew so will keep that point less pointy lol, it seems counter intuitive , but they really do use the softer stuff to keep beak in shape, as well as some hard wood options.
Because they don't make cavities in wood quakers beaks are a little softer than some other species.
Mine sometimes get that, it's norm.

Such a cutie!!!!! :swoon:
