Oh, she is already fat. Because of having her wings clipped and being in that tiny cage when she was at her previous owners, she never got any exercise. She’s already started losing a little bit of weight, but I’m keeping it very slow so as to not mess with her system. she’s a full 20 g heavier than Tteok

Definitely due to no butt feathers lol. Looking back at Valkyrie they looked so goofy without tail feathers

I also wonder if having no tail subtly throws off their balance and makes them stand/walk differently. That could add to a disproportionate look.

to be fair, all of the Australian species that we keep as pets here look better in Australia
