This is an AWESOME read to learn from!!!!!!!!!

Ed. Note: According to the American Holistic VeterinaryMedicine Association, “...the word ‘holistic’ means takingin the whole picture of the patient – the environment, the disease pattern, the relationship of pet withowner – and developing a treatment protocol using awide range of therapies for healing the patient.” Thisincludes integrating conventional protocols with possible complementary and alternative therapies – whatever are the most efficacious, least invasive, least expensive and least harmful paths to cure. The chapter presented here is a brief introduction to selected integrative therapies in order to familiarize the avian practitioner with those that have been used in pet bird practice
and to offer options for possible further study.

My dogs have received chiropractic care and some folks get accupuncture for their dogs. Because of the effectiveness I have seen I have oftened wondered if accupuncture would benefit a feather plucking bird as I think some feather plucking started out as a point of injury and especially for those birds that are mutilators. So little we know!
