Sparky was the gentlest bird I have ever known. She wasn’t a cuddly bird, but she would almost always greet me with a little call when she saw me. She was just happy to sit on my shoulder and play with my beard, take a little nap or get a head scratch if she was in the mood. I will miss her very much. I already do.

Sparky was a trooper. Despite everything she'd been through, she had the sweetest personality. I'm glad that she had a few years that were pain and seizure free. And I'd like to think she was very happy here. We were lucky to have you, Sparky. It was a good 6 years. :sad13:

It is so sad when we lose a pet of any kind and it does leave a huge hole in our lives after they have gone.
You have all the happy memories to look back on, given time. It is a pain that we can bear knowing we have also known such a lovely free spirit. Would rather have known my pets that have past over than not at all. Hope it gets better given time and know that you made a huge difference to his little life whilst with you. God bless. :hug8:
