Congrats! So cute! I love Meyers now that Kylie has joined our flock.

I'm not good at guessing gender of birds, but my guess is male as well. Kylie is DNA sexed female and she has a very feminine look to her. Lucy is also confirmed female because of the RB colors and she has a very feminine look to her as well.

I still haven't decided on the name!

He was brought into a pet store and left there. I know the owners and go in and bother them all the time. I bought a big flight cage for him and they gave him to me. This is the same store I bought the first flight cage from. There is a longer version of this story but that is about it. I guess they could tell he would be well fed at my place.

Oh I definitely paid for the cage!!! They charge me exactly what Kings Cages charges though. I've seen some stores that add on an extra $50 or so. When they ordered the cage they also got a few other things and one of those things was a really cool foraging toy that I want to get.

I'm amazed by how quiet he is. My cockatiels are much louder. I guess once he settles in he will get more comfortable and begin to make more noise.

My boyfriend is dying to introduce him to the others. He is so thrilled with little Nyuk Nyuk that he actually had his coffee in the living room while playing with Nyuk Nyuk, instead of in the bedroom watching TV. Nyuk Nyuk managed in one day to do what I've been trying to do for close to five years!

And of course my dog is upset. He is mad at me and giving me the cold shoulder. I can only imagine how angry he would be if I got a cat. I think he is a little bit scared of Nyuk Nyuk though, which is strange because he is not scared of the others and it's not like Nyuk Nyuk is a macaw.
