My name is Adrian from sunny Sydney .


I’m normally a canary and finch kind of guy, but I was recently given this lovely little bird by a neighbour.

We’re both Not sure what kind of parrot it is, but I looks like it’s going to grow into something very beautiful.

Looks to be a hybrid, that red tail, looks to be a conure, how old, may be a baby

Definitely a green cheek conure. Feathers look a bit odd with that patchy yellow, though. Might just be pied, but I've never seen a pied green cheek so I worry it could be indicative of a health issue (usually malnutrition or liver or kidney problems).

Do you have an avian vet?
