Homemade Veggie and Fruit Wash

I just saw this on Dr. Oz and thought I would share this recipe for a homemade produce wash.
1 Cup Water
1 Cup White Vinegar
1 TBS Baking Soda
1/2 Lemon
Mix together and put in a spray bottle. Spray foods with mixture, let sit 5 minutes and rinse.

Does this have a "shelf life"? Not sure how long I can keep it sitting around. Should it go in the fridge?? I only ask because of the lemon juice and because I'm clueless =]

Matt I think it would be fine to make up a batch for a week. With the vinegar I dont think it would go bad.

HI. I'm new here. Would like to know if this formula is for removing the pesticides or not. I have been using apple cider vinegar with mother nature and water in the ratio of 1:3 to soak the veggies for my bird. Is Dr Oz formula better? Please advise. Thx.
