weened means eating on its own without hand feeding with the first molt there may be some changes in color
click on the forum botton then scroll down until you find lovebirds

The baby is adorable.

I have a feeling he'll look a lot like my Piper when he grows up - he'll get a little lighter and will have some peach colouring on his forehead.

Hello guys thanks all for your wonderful comments ! I feel at home already haha , i have one question when is good to start feeding him adult food or even giving him water to drink on his own ? Thanks in advance !

now let him play with it do not stop feeding him until he refuses to take from the hand feeding that is how you do it how many feedings are you giving him

Feeding him four times a day to be exact 0900 , 1400 , 1800 , 2200 so as the pet shop told me , is this correct ?

Hi guys, just an update on coco he is doing great ! Moved into his new cage today and hes eating slowly but surely by himself also flapping his wings and seems so happy with alot of extra space ive bought him some egg food and small fruit pieces and also a brown seed thing i think its a millet which he loves ! Im trying to teach him how to drink water on his own any tips on how to get him drinking by himself again thanks for all the support !! Much love to avianavenue you guys rock
