In over 25 years of bird keeping this was the first time that happened to her, and God willing the last!O the things I miss over the weekend!! Tanya next time this happens (which is hopefully NEVER) please facebook me and I will be happy to come out and help search etc...... I AM SO GLAD he's ok!!!!!
Me too! I've been wanting to open the sliding glass door in the bird room but I'm to afraid! I'm going to cover the whole door with metal wire so that I can open it and feel safe!I can tell you...these birdies make me want to put netting over the doors and windows as an extra guard...
I told hubby I was thinking about doing that and he said..."why don't you just clip their wings"Me too! I've been wanting to open the sliding glass door in the bird room but I'm to afraid! I'm going to cover the whole door with metal wire so that I can open it and feel safe!
SO glad Duncan is back
As CeddysMum (that's me ) would have responded: "Because they still can escape - it happens all the time" followed by the question: "How would you feel if someone would cut off your legs?"I told hubby I was thinking about doing that and he said..."why don't you just clip their wings"
Men! My hubby knows that wouldn't help since we spent the longest 3 days of our lives looking for our just clipped Grey who flew out of the back door like it was his jobI told hubby I was thinking about doing that and he said..."why don't you just clip their wings"
