Over the last couple of weeks Henry has been dropping feathers (moulting). But today I looked at him and thought "gee you look a bit worn out" especially around the head, neck and wings. Now I personally think that Henry is the best looking Eclectus in the world, but of course I'm a bit bias and today it's no different. Henry is still the best looking worn out Eclectus in the world.
Today Henry was a bit grumpy and he vocalised about how unimpressed he is about moulting and he sat in his cage for around twenty minutes after I got home. He just didn't want to say hello to me. When he came out of his cage, he sat on his bird stand and did more vocalising. But when dinner time came around, Henry quickly forgot his discomfort and was over helping himself to my pea's and corn off my plate.
Aloe Vera showers and lots of treats to keep him happy.
