My Green cheeked conure was spooked by a loud noise, he attempted to fly but instead dropped, scraped his back and landed on the floor, there is no sign of blood nor a scratch but he is limping. He is able to use his wings. No vet is currently available.

Keep him calm in a warm quiet place like a travel carrier or small cage and observe him.
If he’s damaged the leg or anything else then you don’t want him doing more damage by flying about or playing.
Observe him and contact a vet as soon as they’re available if there are any lingering issues or changes such as lameness, behaviour changes etc

currently he is preening himself, I took him to my bedroom ( close to the heater ) we have tried about 9 vets and 4 emergency vets, all of which were closed. He is acting himself ( chewing on my phone and asking for pets from my dad ) I will keep an eye of him until morning, and from there I will decide wether he needs medical attention as he is slowing recovering. Thank you for your response, I appreciate it more than anything at the moment.

Keep us posted please on how he's doing.
As of today he has been making small chirps but nothing loud which is unusual, he usually screeches to let me know it’s time for him to eat. Possibly it is because he is tired? He settled down at around 9:40 pm last night.

he uses his beak to balance and has trouble recalling ( it takes him a while to make a small jump ) I’m not sure if he will get better throughout the day, but I will keep you posted!

Any luck with getting him to a vet?
