Help me name my new pineapple conure!

I just bought a pineapple conure yesterday. I dont know if its a boy or girl but here are some of his/her characteristics: Very cuddly, quiet, funny, energetic, always wanting to be near me. I love harry potter so maybe that could fit in some way but if not its okay! Any ideas will be appreciated.

The genetic precursor to the modern pineapple now grown for food around the world is the Formosan Pineapple. It was crossed with two or three other varieties to obtain the current juicy, sweet and nicely barreled fruit we eat today. I always thought Formosa would be a good name for an exotic parrot. Now I think it would be an appropriate name for a Pineapple Conure!

When I think of pineapples, I think of where I live... how about "Aloha"? Not only does it mean hello/goodbye, but it also means love.

If you want to go with HP names, I like Sirius and Hedwig. Congrats on your new baby!

I think it depends on what house your bird would belong to: if a Gryffindor, then Hermione, Longbottom, Weasley (or any of their first names), Slytherins have cool names- I like Abraxas, Malfoy, Bellatrix, Blaise, Draco, for Ravenclaw, there's the Patil twin, Luna, and I don't remember any Hufflepuffs.

pineapple conure's are super colourful, so they tend to suite a lot of different names...!

any favourite tv shows or games?

fruit/vege names make good names for conures... kiwi, mango, apple, peach, pumpkin.

fan of gaming? yoshi, bowser, mario, peach (again), kooper, goomba are some good mario themed ones.

banjo, kazooie, jak, daxter, ico, wanda, aggro, meeks, juju, eco, link, zelda are some more birdy-sounding gaming names...

ummm. I also like names like pip, mojo, nemo, merlin, dexter, taco, paco, gizmo, gadget, axel, daisy, ruby, lola, dott, leela.

I like cute, short names!

I almost got a pinapple gal a few days ago. It was hard to say no. I was going to name her Calypso!

We named our praying mantis Nymphadora.
Kind of lengthy though. I think Tonks would be cute.
