Welcome! Where'd you get to hold all those parrots? I've never heard of the third one before now.

I love the expression on the palm cockatoo (?)'s face in the first picture. It looks happy. Bet Joey is spoiled!

You are right, he is, ¡¡ he is the king of the house,

the photos are from a bird sanctuary in Indonesia where I spent a wonderful month studying birds, the palm cockatoo was indeed very adorable, I still have some feathers and I miss them ¡¡

Not yet! America is the only continent I have not been to yet, but I hope to go soon, and Costa Rica is on my list!

My vet spent his vacation in Costa Rica volunteering at a macaw recovery/sanctuary for three summers. He loved it enough that he took his wife there for their second honeymoon.
