Hello from Lisa and Eddie in Florida!

I am Lisa and my bird is Eduardo, (Eddie). He is a Quaker parrot who came to us quite by surprise. He showed up at a friend's house about 4 years ago, and made himself at home in their dog's crate on the patio! After searching for months for his owner to no avail, the little guy came to live with me. I had never had birds other than a budgie when I was a young child, so it was all new to me, but we bonded instantly, and he has turned me into what my friends call a "crazy bird lady", and I'm OK with this title! He is my buddy, my baby, and my best animal companion ever! Thanks for welcoming me to the group. I've been reading posts here for years, and have learned so much from everyone about caring for companion birds!
