Hahn's Macaw

Hi, is there anyone out there which can recommend a die-hard reputable breeder or bird store preferably on the East Coast who usually has Hahn's? I have come across nothing but people and "stores" where I am getting no comfort level at all.

if you are determined to lose your hearing and get a hahns. you have 3 major places in new jersey. todd marcus exotic, bird paradise and birds by joe.

Ha! I talked to a "breeder" In NC, who wanted $5800 for a Hahn's because they are "very, very rare" and on the "endangered species list." Are these people breeders or just con artists.

Avalon Aviary is a very reputable breeder but they are in Colorado.
I think they will ship but not in the very hot or cold months.
I believe there is usually a waiting list for them too so you must plan ahead and give them a call months or a year ahead.
The do not overbreed their birds so numbers are limited.
