Yukon is our two-year old Great Pyrenees X White German Shepherd, and has been almost nothing but trouble for his whole life BUT we love him
He is very outdoorsy and pretty much only comes inside to eat, have his morning and afternoon naps, and if the weather is really bad. He prefers to sleep outside, so we let him. We're on a farm so we have lots of places for him to go including two doghouses, but he usually chooses to sleep on the doorstep.
Now this is necessary to understand the story: When my dad washes root veggies (we sell to restaurants so its in hugs quantities), he lays them out on the lawn on big blankets to dry. Yesterday he hung the blankets out on a makeshift closeline to dry at the end of the day.
This morning we opened the front door to call Yukon in for his breakfast. What did we find? He stole the blankets off the closeline and made a "bed" on the doorstep with them
