Well... I didn't like any of the blue ones but fell in love with a gray one! I already have a blue one so it is perfect. (And I wanted to be just like Bonnie (ncGreyBirdLady)) She also has a blue and a gray. Only thing is, I am not sure he is completely weaned, so I will be monitoring the droppings and the weight carefully. I did get some formula from the breeder just in case. She said she hadn't hand fed him since Tuesday and he does have regular droppings, so he must have been eating something, but he keeps begging me for food. Here is the picture: She/He is in a temporary cage until we put him in the larger one after quarantine.

He/she is beautiful! If he/she is still begging then I would hand feed. It sounds like the breeder force weaned your baby.

Go ahead and hand feed. Birds newly weaned will sometimes revert back to hand feeding in stressful situations. It is a security thing and helps them cope. They will let you know when they don't want anymore feeding.
