Someone gifted me a green cheek parakeet yesterday, and I've noticed that its feces is green. I heard that that might mean it could be either health issues, or maybe its previous diet is mainly seed-based. Should I bring it to a vet for a check-up? If so do I need to go find an exotic animal vet or just a regular one?

Urates tend to be the thing that changes when health factors are at play

For future reference, try to find an exotics/avian vet. Even though you may not need one at the moment, dont wait until you do.
