Little update just in case anyone is curious
The fry are about 8 weeks old now. The past 4 weeks their growth has been CRAZY. I am down to 20 fry after my culls and they have been moved into a 20 gallon tank. There's at least two I should have culled but missed, and now I can't bring myself to do it.
However I feel that since being moved to the big tank their growth has stopped. They are now too big to eat baby brine shrimp and so I stopped my hatchery. My problem is trying to find a new food they will eat.
I have tried :
Frozen brine shrimp
Frozen blood worms
Flake food
They will eat the flake but it is not the most nutritious (and I would rather then eat a sinking food so we don't have issues with them ingesting air). They will eat some of the frozen blood worm (chopped so it's smaller pieces). They tend to just spit out the frozen brine shrimp.
