I've been approved and endorsed to have gang gang cockatoos by our states fauna unit so little miss will be coming down in the next few weeks once we get the import export permits filled out. (here in Australia is dealing with native wildlife on permit regardless of the type you must do the import export for them to legally cross state lines.)
Just a couple of pics in the mean time of when she and I met. She is a major plucker so we've got some work ahead of us. Given the nature of these birds reality is that she may always be a little be draggled.
Gabby will be the start of what will eventually be a small of flock of these delightful, albeit challenging, cockatoos. Looking at getting a young pair next year.
