He can change his tone a bit, ie get lighter or darker depending on his mood. Other than that, time will tell... He's only about 12months old.

They're not all that cheap back home either and not a lot of them are kept. The story of how I came about him is on 'the other forum' but the short version is that I rescued him from the side of the road one morning at work.

They have a tendancy to 'sulk' if their situation changes, much like parrots (lol) - he goes off his food for a couple of days when I go away, etc. Otherwise he's really cool and is handfed his crickets and mealworms.

Wow, you found him. I think it is sweet he misses you ;) We had a bearded dragon for 10 years (just lost him a few months ago). Never thought I would be one for reptiles but he was a true character.

They are pretty cool, and true individuals. I had no intention of going out and getting one - I grew up keeping all sorts, including beardies, but Chopper just kind of landed in my lap. lol.
