Update: I attended this and it was really interesting! I loved learning about her natural home and knowing that I set up her cage well for the type of environment she'd live in. It was also interesting to learn about what her diet would be in the wild (lots of fruit, especially figs!).
But a lot of parrot experts also make me feel terrible for having one in the first place, and especially a single bird. They are cuddlers by nature and sleep in a pile, but were never meant to cuddle with humans.
Still, I love her to pieces and want to understand her which I think is more than your average person browsing Petco for a green cheek.
