Barbera Heidenreich offered a free webinar the other week geared toward professionals training animals in zoos/rehabilitation/refuge settings called “Training Animals to Shift Reliably” [link] She did a really good job of breaking down how to train an animal to move from A to B, and the obstacles that get in the way in teaching them to do it. If you struggle like I do in mapping it all out this might help to make things a lot clearer.
