Have you found Snowflake yet? Hope Snowflake comes out of hiding soon if you haven't already. They are so small they can hide anywhere.

Still no sign of him. I do have a messy house so there are lots of hiding spots but this is the longest I've even "lost" a bird in the house.

Hope you do not have a pet dog or cat. I know you must be worried sick. :)

Yes we have a cat but she is declawed on her front paws. I have looked everywhere and I am honestly baffle at where he could be.

Maybe get the cat and her litter and food set up in the bathroom or basement or something and lock her up in there for now - somewhere your parrotlet couldn't have gotten to, just in case she ends up finding him first. Declawed or not, cats are cats and I know mine like to carry toys around in their mouth.

Are the other birds calling to Snowflake? Have you heard any little peeps back?

No all the other birds are sleeping. We were watching a movie and I noticed he was missing about 1 am. :(

Oh no - almost 5 hours now? If the other birds are sleeping, he could have found a spot to settle down and sleep too. Does he recognize certain sounds, like a clicker or the sound of you preparing food or shaking food? If there's a sound he can identify, maybe making those sounds - like dry food hitting the bottom of a food bowl - might get a few chirps or flutters if he's eager to come out.

Maybe try crinkling a plastic bag? That makes my birds go nuts, every time. Hope you find him soon! :(

I'm really happy he showed up! I once believed one of my budgies escaped. He was clipped and i have a messy house aswell. I looked for hours and nothing. A few hours later... there he was, in the top part of a box standing like nothing happened. :bored:

Not just Snowflake, but fids can be little stinkers about hiding and not making a peep while a worried parront has the "body in the ditch" (as I call it) mental image. The you find the little monster sitting very quietly somewhere where they could watch you go nuts the whole time. I am positive they sit there and giggle too.
