Very interesting article! This especially is pertinent to parrots who are natural ground foragers.
It has idea for setting up the floor of the cage to make it forage-friendly. We could do this because we don't treat our grass with anything. We even have a couple of extra stone tiles.

I like that idea with something natural however, I would be more concerned about critters that could be in it. Fleas, ticks, chiggers you name it.

Good idea, I think that small buckets and such, tupperware with toys and treats can be great too.

I do use a small, shoe size plastic container and put seeds in it, then cover with foot toys and shredded paper for Jingo. One of his favorite toys!

Grass seed isn't too expensive. It might be neat to try and grow some in container for them to forage through.
