Oh Maddy, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Just remember, Dudley wasn't alone in his final hours. Many of us know the pain you are feeling now. It is the major "cons" of having companion animals, when they leave us this way. The best we can do is make them feel as safe and as comfortable as possible in their final hours, which you have done. You're an amazing parront. Take solace in the knowledge that you did all that you could and you and your sister were there with him in his final hours. Fly free, sweet boy You are no longer in pain ​

I agree w/Kristin, you need to have a necropsy done so you know what killed him, then you'll know what to do to protect your flock.

Poor Dudley, he is gone WAAAAAY to soon. Thank you for your care of him--I'm sure he knew he was loved
